So, for items Priced between Rs.10000 and Rs50000, will the refund remain unchanged, i.e., Rs.9950 ?? If so, then it will benefit a very few by this change. Many buyers are getting cheated in the range of 10K-25K and it won't benefit them. Hope I am wrong in understanding the revision .

For ebay purchase of Rs.50,000 or more the protection is Rs.49,950.
It means that the Buyers purchasing Item for more than Rs.50,000 would still be protected for Rs.49,950 only.
For payment made through other method (ie. not PaisaPay) the maximum protection is still Rs.9,950.

Thanks for your reply. The wording of the policy is quite clear. In fact I am quite stressed about some undue huge charges deducted by my Bank (nothing related to eBay) and could not concentrate properly while reading the policy. Sorry for making such silly posting.
Thanks eBay for amending the policy. It will surely benefit most of the high value buyers a lot and encourage usage of Cards. .

This will certainly help most of the buyers. But for other payment modes, eBay can still increase the protection claim. ---------------
