Bid automatically increases in Auction

Hi,
Today when i tried to bid on micromax psyche mobile, the bid which I placed was outbidden thrice. Then it came in my mind, that this thing is automatic or in my words software specific. Since I m an IT engineer, I know what is this issue. whenever u try to place a bid, which is less than the cost price of the product, the bid will be immediately outbidden.
This is a cheating from ebay. They have updated software like, any how, the bid has to be equivalent to the Cost Price of the product. So, what is the use of placing products in Auction. Simply sell them out on BUY IT NOW option.

Thats almost that, but a little different. Let me explain with example.

Say the current bid is at 100 Rs

The other person must have placed a maximum bid of say Rs 800. But that higher bid wont be visible to you nor to seller. It will automatically be placed if someone increases bid.

Say if you now bid as 150, Than now system will show bid standing at Rs 200. Its automated.
