This "Server too busy, please select a start time 48 hours or later" thing sucks. You have recently merged with eBay, & it's about time you grow up to the eBay standards too.
Buy more bandwidth, get more server space if you have to. waiting for 48 hours or more almost always results in the product getting sold otherwise anyway. And then there is nothing left to sell. You are simply killing your own business & subscriber base.
You want to be eBay . . . . its not enough to just stash away all their money and let your site roll along the way it used to. You need to invest some of it to upgrade it and provide better service too. Is there any eBay in the world that tells its users that the item they just posted will be on display 48 hours or later . . . . ??
If this 'server busy' problem is real, you really need to get it fixed, if it's just a gimmick to make an impression that you are over-loaded with requests to use your service, well, its giving out a totally wrong impression, that you are not capable of handling the business that's coming to you.
Please get it right and don't let all your hard work and initiative go to waste like this. Because if you don't, someone else will.
