Almost everyday we receive request by buyers to change the shipping address. We are unable to do so under powership. So we have to cancel the order and request buyer to place another order. Problem is that we have to pay the final value fee for the cancelled orders. Why is eBay not doing anything to plug this loophole. When customer calls them, they simply tell the customer to contact the seller. What can a seller do in this regard? eBay should explian to the customer. Or there should be a system to change the buyer provided shipping address. eBay is still following ancient practices. Many things need to be changed as per the evolution of the ecommerce market. For Eg : customers cannot make payment on eBay india site through the mobile app. This is when other sites are giving extra discounts to the customers to purchase through their app. Many people use mobile app to buy online nowadays. eBay India needs to wake up and be more proactive, otherwise it will loose completely to other marketplaces in the country.
