I have bought hundreds of items from eBay since the year 2000, in fact from the days it was still baazee.com. I have 100% positive feedback. I'm patient with sellers and don't give negative feedback or claim a refund unless I have a VERY good reason.
Now I've just been informed that my account has been suspended. It happened this way:
I bought an item on December 25. The seller did not ship it. I sent him a reminder on January 01 - a normal query, nothing rude or offensive. The seller never replied but entered a tracking number the same day (Jan 01). The number was obviously false because it was shown as despatched on Dec 15 and delivered in another city on Dec19 - long before I even bought the item.
I submitted a refund claim the next day (Jan 02) and was given a claim number. Today I received an email from eBay telling me that my claim was rejected because my account is currently suspended!!!!
I can hardly find the words to express my shock.
