Hello,

The launch of New PaisaPay would bring in lots of changes on the site.

The fearful one would be the AUTO REFUNDS.

Auto Refunds would be everyday affair as the Seller would not like to ship the Item if he has the slightest of doubt about the delay.

Many Sellers would avoid using 2nd grade Courier Services, Speed Post etc.

Getting a Physical POD within such a short duration would not be possible.

There would be quite a number of instances where the Buyer would get the Item as well as the Auto Refund.

Would like to know the Comments of the Co-Sellers as to what they feel about this and what would be their Strategy after the launch of New PaisaPay ?

Would you stop Selling on ebay ?

Would you wait & watch ?

Would you stop selling High value Items ?

Would you stop selling low value Items as shipping through 2nd grade Courier would be a risky affair ?

Would you keep selling the way you are doing now ?

I Request ebay india team to revise the policies for only INTERNATIONAL shipments case.

AUTO Refunds - Your Views

There is a provision to appeal/ revision over the refund given to buyer. This provision is not even known to CC assistants or CC Supervisor. I faced a situation. I shipped item on 23-08-2011 by RegdPOST from State Head Post Office. But it did not reach before 02-09-2011. Probably the customer's location may be very remote not easily accessible. Hence the customer promptly filed refund claim. The eBay sent a mail to me to file POD before 08-09-2011 and cautioned that otherwise refund would be approved. I complained to the postal authorities on 03-09-2011 and they delivered the parcel on 05-09-2011 and informed me only on 07-09-2011. I grabbed the screen of POD from my Computer and sent it on 07-09-2011 night itself to eBay requesting to cancel refund. But eBay CC did not notice my mail on 08-09-2011 and watch on 09-09-2011 also and permitted auto refund. when I contacted eBay CC, they were giving lame excuses blaming me for sending POD on 07-09-2011 th night, and claimed that the final date was 07th and it was decided on 07th itself to refund. Whereas the eBay mail says the final date was 08-09-2011 and decision was taken only on 09-09-2011 morning itself. These information given by CC Supervisor was completely wrong. When I requested him to let me know the appellate authority to whom I can file a revision or appeal, he declared he was the final authority. CC Supervisor was also blaming me why I did not contact CC earlier. I searched the eBay and found there was a place " PiasaPay Resolution Centre - eBay Seller Protection Policy " where we can file revision / appeal over autorefund. WE have to mail our revision to insellerprotection@ebay.com with all proof to establish our claim. A bunch of unworkable and strange instructions are found in this. The eBay/PaisaPay asks us to send acknowledgement signed by the buyer, the acknowledgement should bear the name of the recipient and phone number, it should be in hard copy and scanned and sent to above email address or faxed to Bombay eBay office. The eBay / PaisaPay has declared that the information from buyer / courier / Postal Authorities that the buyer/addressee had received the parcel could not be accepted. The POD scanned and sent should contain buyers ID, Paispay ID and item No. That should show when was it shipped with tracking number. You can find all these instructions in http://pages.ebay.in/help/policies/seller-protection-policy.html . Please kindly imagine/find out which courier or Postal service in India give all these particulars within 7 days, i.e. the time limit to stop auto refund. I request eBay authorities to modify the policy workable in India atleast for "eBay India" so that seller can continue their business with the help of eBay. The fun part is the buyer though informed with POD and requested to contact eBay and confirm delivery never informed and became completely silent. I lost only few hundreds. But imagine if it was a laptop? We are Indians...Please indianise eBay India also.
