Some emreralds are being sold very cheap but claerly mentions "DOUBLEX" which means that half of the stone is natural and half is glass. Usually the upeer half is orignal stone and lower half is lab created glass.

Hello Dr Hassan,
You are too much obsessed with emerald, where as I try not to sell emerald.
How about blue aquamarine which my old European rich lady buyers love so much?
I myself is a great fan of blue chalcedony. No stone can be so beautiful. You look at it and feel like writing a poem.Such a soft humble assertive beauty.
Thanx,
Truly,
Amitava

Dear Dr. Hassan,
Thanks a lot for the caution. Actually most sellers use such technical terms like Original Shell Pearl, Genuine CZ Diamond ...... they are correct as per the listing but the general buyers often overlook such technicalities and suffer.
btw, I think our beloved Raha-da (amitava123gems) wants you to share a part your passion for green to something blue too !! So next time you may try to put a similar caution for artificially treated blue sapphires ;-) .
Best Regards 😄

Dear Amitava,
I am a stone collector, and I have all sorts of high grade stones precious and semiprecious stones of various sizes. I only collect UNTREATED stones of top quality, like IF, FL, VVS-1 and VVS-2 any thing below VVS-2 is unacceptable for me. The best one I have is a 2 carat IF deep pink diamond (untreated)Check out what is the price of this diamond is in India.
I buy my stones from Thiland, Sri Lanka, India and South Africa. I hope that this answers your question.
With all my regards and best wishes.

Hi,
Better to write 2.06 carat than 206 cents - someone in a hurry may get confused.
By the way the largest diamond found till date is the Cullinan Diamond - 3106 carat uncut and the biggest finished piece is 530.2carat (Cullinan I), also in the possesion of the British. Here are some interesting links even for all those who know these
