425 Items are Miscategorized under Books & Magazines

Hi All,

I just noticed that a powerseller has listed more than 425 items under Books & Magazine which should be listed under Computers & Peripherals.

Books & Magazines -> Computers & Internet

Top Sellers shouldn't violate eBay Polices intentionally. But this seller has saved a lot of listing fees.

This is why new sellers and genuine sellers are not listing much books.

Pinks wake up and start spying these categories every morning for 1/2 hour !! some books have cds in it. But what I can also see is real commercial softwares are sold on this category worth Rs. 35000 (eg item 150238891185). For this ebay charges Rs. 5 + 12.36% tax per listing for 7 days from genuine sellers. Such listing is for free in that category for some sellers who violate policy??? no wonder the seller has 3800 listings out of which 3404 are in Books and Magazine.

I dont understand why they do after all. Just to save a buck in listing, they pay 1% more FVF.

Pinks did stunning job in this case. I need not say much.
3800 Listings converted to mere 11 listings for the seller in Books category. Still the 11 active listings seem to be on the wrong side! 😉
Just imagine Rs. 3800 listing fees getting loss of eBay every week amounting to Rs. 15200+ 12.36% monthly!

Thanks Indraneel for the reply, I don't have anything against the seller. But the rule should be uniformed to every seller as other sellers (including me) pay high fees for listing same products. ---------------
