I am sick and tired of Ebay. I had bought an item nearly 2 months back and everything that could go wrong went wrong:
First, the seller shipped it to the wrong address
I had to go and collect it from the wrong address.
Second, the item was defective.
When I tried to contact him the seller was no longer part of Ebay. I sent him many mails and after a long time he replied back asking me to mail him back the defective product. At this time, he was back on Ebay and I think he was afraid I would give him a bad rating.
I had to actually courier the product back to him.
Third, he has not sent me the item as yet. He informed me by email that he would send me the product soon, but he has not yet done so. I sent him another mail reminding him to send the courier. Now he is once again not part of Ebay.
I think this seller is playing games with customers. He sells defective items and does not respond soon enough. By quitting from Ebay again and again, he thinks he can avoid the negative customer feedback.
DO NOT BUY FROM saimex_in1. He is a cheat.
I opened a dispute in Ebay too, and to my great surprise it got closed. I do not even know for what reason. Ebay is really not worth wasting time on. I wish I had just bought the item in a nearby store. Fortunately the item was not costly.
I think these sellers do not know the meaning of customer service. And more importantly, it is the responsibility of Ebay to guard its buyers against such sellers. I hope Ebay would examine the authenticity of the rating that it gives, because in my case this seller was a power seller and he turned out to be a crook.
