99% of Casio Edifice watches sold on ebay is replica...confirmed by seller

it is a great true story:
On recent days many sellers are selling casio (and even other poplular brands)edifice watches on ebay India at very low price 9even lower than US casio shops).

many customers brought the same ,and some ones even knowing the truth about its authenticity brought the same as a Casio replica.

We contacted an ebay seller selling the same from Hong kong, and he agreed to us that he is selling 100% casio replica of Edifice .In hong kong & China all new & old model replicas of all Casio Edifice models are available at shops @ 1/4 of the original prices, They makes exact replicas and some exact functions with a exact user manual, fake markings, and the edifice box.Even with fake Edifice sale tags with original prices !!!.

So all customers are requested to verify its authenticity by visiting near casio shop (if you wish to be proud owner of the original casio gear).

The seller replies saying that "this product is not original, but the same high quality is worth your purchasing."


SO ACT WISELY, think before buying the same.The problem is many sellers selling the same are again selling and confirming to buyers that its 100% original.But the truth is that the same original is not even available in US or Singapore at the price as indicated on ebay India !@!!!!!

100% of these Casio watch are fake. These are sold offline at 2000-2500

I ment 100% becuase the one that they say is original is also fake.

Hi Team,

As requested attached are the copies of DTDC courrier which I used to send the product back. The seller should receive it by tomorrow evening and the tracking number should be applicable from today after 8pm.

I am also attaching the original invoice copy send along with the product.

The shipping charges are 395rupees which is mentioned in the POD/Dispatch Slip.

Please do let me know if any further details required also to note that this product is being returned as this is a counterfeit watch which he sold on ebay and all the listings of his casio edifice watches are counterfeit product which is against the law to sell such products and against ebay policy.

He also made me remove the negative feedback I gave mentioning if I don't remove the claim will be processed late and hence I was forced to remove the negative feedback mentioning about the reality of his counterfeit products.

I have validated the same with Casio service centre in Pune - PT Pandole. Your team can check the same and hope such sales could be stopped in future through ebay.

Personally i do own a CASIO Protrek watch purhcased from USA. Neither am i interested in the Edifice series. But i am seeing a lot of them(Edifice) around like the Fastrack watches these days. One thing i have noticed among a few of them is that all of them loses its color easily in a few months usage. Also the metal chain gets scratched quickly, which is quite wierd. Even the cheapest watches and low end brand watch's chains wont get scratched like that. I have always been suspicious with these watches on ebay untill i came across this article.

I totally agree with you. 

And for others, if they think these are factory seconds or watches with minor defects, keep dreaming as these watches are completely fake.

Having said that, please read the watches comes with seller warranty and NOT manufacturer's warranty. You never know how long they're gonna last. So guys please buy wisely and take care of your hard earned money.

yes you are right my friend not 99% watches I say all watches are fake... on all sites.. i bought one from SnapDeal and that was also fake but i boubht it for MRP price.. I don't knw whether they will take it back.. if not, then i will file a complaint on consumer court..

If you watch closely you can find out some small difference between original and eBay watches... Its not original

I have also ordered Casio Edifice EFR 540RB model and I am convinced that it will be a fake or replica.

So I want to take action against it and want my money back as I have ordered today only.

What should I do?

I baught casino edifice 530 1avdf watch at ebay.in @2560 Rs. actually mrp. 8975 Rs. but it has no serial number on back side of the watch and doesn't have a bar code. so i immediately contacted the seller. Then he said that " The watch with barcode and serial no come only with the custom paid ones imported by official channels." and also he said they are importing 100% genuine watches by unofficial channens .
He also assured if i didn't like the watch then he will provide 100% refund
