The workshop is aimed at helping you understand how to source products. Since you already have some products in mind, you can start listing. All you need is photograph of your product. Click on the Sell button on top of any eBay page and follow instructions to list the product.

If you wish to have telephonic training, you can write to training.india@ebay.com. You may also call at 1800-22-3229.

If you wish to ask questions or learn from experienced members, you may post your question on Help from other users board. There will be always some community member to give you fast and quick help.

Myself vandana.I have listed many products on ebay but getting any responce of the coustomers. I can't understand the reason.I listed my products in jewellery category(diamond jewellery),in computer and parrephirel category . I am upset about this.

Sourcing tips to sell on eBay as a Hobby

1. Sell products lying unused around your house.
You can start by selling products that you no longer use, gifts you dont like that are lying around the house. For example: books, furniture, old mobile phone, gift articles, collectibles, coins, stamps and a lot more. Just look around your house, you are sure to find interesting products to sell on eBay.

2. Purchase small products from local markets, dollar shops, discount stores. Specialised products like jewellery from Jaipur, Pearls from Hyderabad, regional paintings have a good demand on eBay.

3. When you buy an item for yourself try listing it on eBay. If the product receives orders you are sure to understand the market and start a good business on eBay.
One ebay Seller believed in "2". He always purchased 2 items, one for personal use and one to sell on eBay. Today he is running a successful business on eBay.
