Unresponsive support - cost cutting at the cost of sellers?

Hey co-sellers!

Are you seeing no response from customer care - both incswebhelp @ inrswebhelp? And also chat is a long queue.

Looks like there is a change at ebay - either a lay off of support staff or probably some cost reduction in customer support.

Chat which was instant came to a wait time of 10-15 min. And also you are not exposed to chat immediately, you are prompted with self help options. And responses to ebay are not getting answered at all.

Its good to operate efficiently at low costs but proper planning should be done to not impact user experience.

When there are issues with accounts, ebay acts swiftly and penalizes heavily without even listening to any justification or give a chance for explanation. But when sellers wants help/support, they should wait for hours toghether and incase of email, no response absolutely.

What is going on?

WOuld appreciate an explanation from eBay group.

Not sure if I am the only one facing this problem though. My apologies if I not talking in terms of a larger group.....
