How does eBay deal with duplicate products ?

I have got a general concern with duplicate products of well known brands .We suffer this menace even if we buy from the local market ,to avoid that we make purchases from the Brand showrooms ,and authorized sellers etc..How does eBay deal with this and guarantee us that the branded products are original ones ?

Recently i bought jbl synchros e10 earphone from ebay.in with top seller but this product is duplicate.

Today I bought a JBL earphone . First of all, I have been waiting for this for two weeks and then it gets shipped to another address, and after my calls and revolts they finally deliver it to me. And when I open it .the product is fake 3rd class Chinese model of JBL . eBay has no goodwill among its costumers that's for sure . But it's ruining the name of a brand like JBL.
Worst app I ever used till now . I see there are a lot of unsatisfied customers here . Let's all give it one star on playstore and try to get rid of this for once and forever.
