How can I make buyers leave feedback?

Out of 10 buyers one bothers to leave feedback on an average. How can I make buyers to leave feedback as after so many reminders also they dont bother to reply or leave feedback. I have also noticed that most of the buyers who bought from me are newly registered.

I had bought a product from a us seller and after a month of the sale i got a reminder mail form him to leave feedback. Sending reminders is a good idea.

Many buyers whom i requested feedback actually just replied tot he same message with Positive COmments.

Many buyers dont understand what feedback really is. (UNtill they have a bad experience offocurse)

However the controlling factor comes from the place where we send them a reminder.

The reminder must state how important the feedback is for the community to grow. Include the link to the feedback forum whre the buyer can leave feedback easily.

Buyers like things sweet and simple. They hate wasting time on many things. I used to send a letter requesting feedback to all buyers in baazee days along with the product.

Hi,

Once the product is delivered, a seller always has the right to ask for feedback. I send to all my buyers once in 15 days for a feedback request. Send an email (not My Messages).

Note: Before asking for a feedback, give the best service to the buyer.


You can take this automated message as example for requesting feedback.

Dear Sir/Madam,

I hope the product has been delivered by now. Please leave the feedback at eBay and I expect Positive from your side.

Feedback is voluntary. eBay suggests that buyers leave it 'once you have received your item':

There have been times when I have left a positive feedback for sellers but sellers have not bothered to leave a feedback for me as a buyer though I had paid immediately using paisapay. If someone is interested I can provide seller names and the transaction numbers.

So.... I salute the buyers who unlike me might not have left feedback always. Let the sellers get a taste of their own medicine.

Mine is little different case but i suspect it to be linked.

I had sold an item and i didnt receive the item receipt confirmation and the feedback (which is very priced) from the buyer , I had to wait all the time till the time frame to lapse to get my amount, I assume either the buyer died soon after receiving my item or he is doing this intentionally. Although this is a nice initiative from the E Bay to protect the buyers , but I think regarding feedbacks the buyer who does not leave feedback within a months time should be treated as positive and be awarded to the seller feedback list.

As I post this My another item receipt confitmation is pending, alothough the buyer confirmed by sms but wont post on e bay inspite of many requests.


I hope E bay does something about these lazy or dead buyers

As a new seller I had left a positive feedback for the buyer as soon as I received the Paisa Pay confirmation about the item sale , this was the mistake I did. Inspite of many reminders the buyer has neither confirmed the item receipt nor left a feedback. I had to wait all 3 weeks to get my payment.

As a seller I also encountered this problem in the beginning.
However, I would NEVER leave feedback for the buyer before he/ she did as that would leave me with no defence against a NEGATIVE Feedback (now extinct).
I would however send an occasional reminder to the buyer REQUESTING for positive feedback and also mentioning clearly that I would reciprocate with a positive feedback immediately.

i always leave feedback for sellers and as a seller i send them reminders to leave feedback sometimes it works
