Now I understand!! This is the same trick they use with everyone! I bought an item in October'08 (PaisaPay ID 22996158574) which qualified for a 'so-called' Diwali promotion gift (sansa media player) and when I asked the customer care about why I didn't receive it yet, I was given the same and only response - 'your area is not serviceable' (The complain no. is GS=C22009).
Let me tell you this, this is one of the prime areas in Bangalore and no one else except this sick eBay team and their sick courier partner have found it as unserviceable. And, now the customer care doesn't even bother to respond to the mails and terminate the calls as soon as I authorize myself and broach this topic. According to me, this is a very cheap, unethical and fraudulent practice by ebay to increase their sales and the people driving it and the management both are probably too short-sighted to understand the kind of damage it makes to a company's reputation in the long-term!!
