Air shipping prices are acceptable, would have liked 25% lower fess for the next 9-12months to have a competitive edge over FK & Amazon, then you could have matched the prices. It should have been 45+25+10 (for 500, incremental 500, >3kgs). Ebay was the best in 250 grams shipment. Low ASP products takes a beating because of this pricing.

WRONG WEIGHT ISSUE: this is the no.1 problem of ebay powership. We do not have a system where in we can feed in the dimensions just like flipkart. Also the claim for wrong weight issues we receive a refund in only 10-15% of the cases. So higher air shipping prices do not solve the wrong wight charged by LSP's.

Surface shipping: A increase from 100/5kgs to 250/5kgs is very steep. Also the volumetric charges were LxBxH/2750, and now there is no clarity on volumetric dimensions. Also no system to capture correct volumetric and dead weight during order processing.

Suggestion 1: We have seen fedex provide flat 2kg surface shipment for Rs.48 national on logistics aggregator providers like shipyari.com, shiplyte.com. If ebay can introduce 2kg lite(surface) shipment for Rs.50/100, then we can ship all the small packages in this slab without having to worry about wrong weight issues and high shipping charges.

Suggestion 2: Introduce a system where in we can feed in the volumetric weight in the listing itself along with dead weight. This will help us solve wrong weight charged by LSP's

Suggestion 3: Get Ekart on board to handle 80% of the shipments, as all ebay sellers operate on multiple platform this helps us in optimising our operations and we have to deal with lesser LSP's. Ekart and flipkart have improved tremondously in the last 12-18months. With ekart on board express delivery can also be started.

Clarification required 1: What is the volumetric dimesions which powership will consider ??? Earlier it was LBH/5000 for air and LBH/2750 for surface. What is it now????

Sales on ebay are already about 5-10% of that on amazon. The only advantage ebay had was low commission resulting in low prices for customers. With the hike in commission which are not similar but HIGHER than industry standard I fail to see any reason why customer would buy on ebay. Seems to be disaster move for ebay. Dont see ebay for holding up for 1 year more if similar prices apply.

You Are planning to charge Shipping fee on returns?? Ebay will lose sales.

paisapay charges are drastically increasing this is also not good.

Nothing is mention about auction style listings? Is Flipkart (Mintkart) Going to wipe it off from ebay India?
Don't you think charging 23% Commission and 10 Rs Fix Listing fee per item sold it too much? It is kind of loot. We are paying 10% fix fee to eBay India previously but this new fee structure is not acceptable at all. You cannot raise the price immediately like this. Fix Listing fee should be 1-2 Rs. Maximum to Rs.5. (Same as previously eBay charging for listing fee).
