2. why in coins & stamps category , the Other subcategories commission is so high ? what is the rational behind this ?

Dear members,

We are thankful for your feedback and comments around the announcement of revision in eBay.in Fees Policy.

Here are our responses to the points in the feedback that we have received –

• RTO Shipment Charges – There is no charge for RTO shipment. This is also mentioned in the FAQs.
• Concerns around junk listings due to zero listing fee – Some of you have expressed that due to the listing fees becoming zero, junk listings on the site might increase. We wanted to highlight the duplicate listing policy which is already in place to tackle this issue.
• Regarding Auction Listings – Listing fee for Auction listings will be zero as a part of this fee change. In addition, reserve fee, buy it now fee and scheduled listing fees, which are part of the feature fees, will also be zero. Further, Final Value Fee (FVF) charged on close of a bid is also zero.
• Changes in PowerShip – For questions regarding PowerShip packing material and customer return shipment charges, we will get back to you with a detailed policy by December 31, 2017, as announced. We are offering promotional offers on both these charges till February 1, 2018.

We have also noted other concerns and suggestions which you have shared and they will be reviewed with due consideration.

Ebay was best marketplace for sellers compared to Amazon, FlipKart and other. But not anymore. Seems like FlipKart is pushing through it's high commisions and high pricing into ebay as well. Even though we had low orders and sales on ebay, because ebay fees were very low, I was selling on Ebay. Will have to take a hard look at my ebay business to see if it justifies efforts to sell on Ebay going forward. If you are going to charge commission like FlipKart, it is better to shut down ebay and drive traffice to Flipkart.

This is a great move. Seems FLIPKART has started looking into it.

ONE CONCERN that i would like to HIGHLIGHT is SELLING LIMITS!!!

I want to sell Graphic Cards with ASP INR 26k, but i cannot.

i sell more, you make more money and GMV goes up. Flipkart has no such limits, not sure why here?

Attention Seller: You've reached your selling limits on the IN eBay site. On the IN eBay site you can sell up to 10 items or up to $250 per month, whichever comes first. Although you've reached your limits in IN, you may still be eligible to list items internationally. If you would like to appeal for more limits, please email to inappeals@ebay.in with Proof Of Identity (POI), Proof Of Address (POA) matching your registered Name & Address respectively and Category you want to list. New management policy will simply ruined the ebay

The purpose of having a premium shop on ebay is totally defeated. It is better that we close the premium shop & go to the free regular listing which is free. After paying such a huge price for a PREMIUM SHOP if we do not get any advantage then it is senseless.

The fee hike is too steep & the catagorization is ridiclous in one particular category.  Already GST is hitting us hard now this %age variations in one particular category is CRAZY.  Should have one uniform %age for one Catagory.  This change is not leaving a good taste in SELLER's like us. We SELLER's have always been on the receving end - many seller's are not aware of the EBAY charges & are blindly selling at less than cost price as per the old policy & now with this changes they will end up loosing much more if they do not pull up their socks.  It is high time ebay realizes this mistake of changing the rules / policies in a fashion that will only affect the sale for the Seller & revenue loss for EBAY.

Unable to manage margin in below 200 rs product.
Revision in powership is good but request you do not charge on packing material from feb 2018.

This steep hike in rates will literally shut business on eBay. For a new seller like me, it's very painful. I understand that business should be scalable but that doesn't been exorbitant rates. Very disappointed and disheartened...
