4.5% Transaction/Paisa Pay charges are already too high as compare to other portals who averages around 2.5%. Now you are increasing these charges from 4.5% to 6.5% - 8% which will increase end customer cost as we will have to pass this cost to customers. I was already selling all my products on ebay for atleast 5% less cost than other portals. With this cost increase, I will have to increase my selling price for all products. Not a good move by Ebay.

the percentage commision charged by ebay was already higher than other portals

and increasingmore commision from sellers will  increase in the cost of the products which ultimately lead to loss in the number of customers

Not a good move. 4.5% was not enough for you folks at paisa pay??? eBay charges dual comission Paisa pay Fee + Final Value Fee, These 2 fees combined are higher when compared to any other portal out there. Now eBay is planning to increase paisa pay comission again which a move not appereciated by any seller loyally selling on eBay.

Sellers from electronics category already have low margins becasue they have to compete against Big eCom giants, child companies. Those companies pool away most of the online traffic and we compete against them furiouslly by providing better customer service and pricing on eBay. But we can't continue to do so if eBay increases comissions like this. We already have low margins spare a dime for us as well to earn.

Understanding the pricing do keep increasing for every facility but as per current senario banks haven't increased their processing fess for ebay to enable the hike.

Further it looks like its a attempt to cover the loss rate by ebay because of poor ebay gaurantee team who have been extensively refunding to buyer and covering seller for silly mistakes from their side.

If this hike is to cover the loss rate its not a good step because soon or later all other ebay seller would notice it. Instead of increasing the facility fees ebay should focus more on controlling the EG team and their quality of staffing. Some of the team member are so dumb that they even do not know who is seller and buyer and instead of calling seller the call buyer and take action.

They do not read their email in que and escalation and blindly approve refund which brigns loss to ebay coz than SP has to be provided to seller. These losses cannot be recovered from seller by increasing the facility fees.

On top of that the support extended by eBay is not as swift and professional as some other portals. There is no marketing or sales support. Seller support is poor. There is no reason for eBay increasing these charges from 4.5% to 6.5% - 8% as all they are providing is only a payment gateway. Such undeserving levy will either increase cost for end customer or where, MRPs are fixed and enough margins are not available for Sellers, the only option for Sellers would be to delist from eBay. Definitely not only a bad move by Ebay but also suicidal for the platform.

On all other compitition website Laptop fees is 3% and on eBay it is 1.75% higher. this impacting Laptop sale, Also there should be fix shipping charges for laptops as there is no huge diffrence in size of diffrent variaty laptops.

Online Customer looks for Lowest Prices and Deals.

By increasing Fees, Products on Ebay will be Costlier compared to other Portals and Shall loose sales to them

Its hyper competition in Online and increasing fees will be a Bad Move.

Instead of decreasing the paisa pay amount you people have increased by almost 2-4% which is not at all good moves by ebay,
