this is a live case how e-bay reprimands its buyers on sellers faults.

i Redeemed RS 500/- flat discount coupon to purchase a laptop HP probook 4710s for rs 32310+500 =32810 i used rs 500/- flat discount coupon the shipping was reduced and i paid 32310/- .unfortunately "rajdr" the seller failed to ship my item and i initiated the refund order and recieved Rs 32310/- i am now constantly asking for Rs 500/- flat coupon back which in my initial communication to e bay was promised that i will get it back . what i have been offered now is 5% discount coupon of max discount upto 500/- and not Rs 500/- flat discount .
when i made repeated compalints about this issue the CUST Care Execs give the same plastic answer sir these coupons are system generated and we cannot do any thing about it.

i am not a seller i purely visist your site to make purchases this is
really unfair on your part that once you issue a Rs 500/-flat
voucher.Then you are issuing 5%or rs 500max value voucher replacement
and reprimanding the buyer for seller's fault. if u notice i immediately
paid for the item and utilised Rs 500 flat voucher for this item. i am a
high value purchase customer so your attitude clearly encourages me NOT
repete "NOT" to purchase high value items from items from your site .
This shows that you people back out from your commitment compounded by
really bad expirences on both high value purchases made by me in the recent past this has really
discouraged me to go in for future purchases i will only buy petty amount items spending. i
dont even require this 5%vouchers of yours.this is going to widely
publicised on community of yours,all the sites i am a member of a few
namely Twitter,Facebook,orkut,Zapak,linkedin etc,etc that i think will
be good enough for a lots of community members who are making purchases
from you if you do not address me properly even at the cost of banishing
me from your site.Please remember that it is the customer on which the
business runs this is lackasidical attitude of addressing problem in
this manner and taking such a long time is unacceptable to any customer
who has recently started purchases on your site.This may be a strategy
to push customers to trap customers purchasing products of more than
10000/- to avail discount of Rs 500/-@5%.Sorry dear this is a wrong
sales strategy to trap an educated man and please remember all net users
generally have common sense.A really bad sales manager would have done
this. THIS IS VIEWED AS GOING BACK ON COMMITMENT WHICH IS THE DOOM FOR
SALES. Thank you for your 5% alm please do not communicate with me on
10%,15%issues in future if Rs 500/-flat coupon isnt reissued.

I understand from your mail that you wish to redeem the coupon for the
Paisapay id 25746758691 which got refunded.

I know it is disappointing to encounter such a situation even after
making such a successful payment.

The transaction was cancelled by the seller so usually we are unable to
provide another coupon. As these coupons are issued by ebay and these
coupons are generated on random basis by the system , these not are
generated manually .

But in your case I can consider sending another coupon to you, but not
of the same value. We can send a 5% coupon available, as we are unable
to issue new coupons from our side because as I can check you have used
Flat Rs 500 coupon but at present we will be unable to provide this
particular coupon as we have only 5 Percent Discount Coupons, hence we
can issue a new 5 % Discount coupon to you .

If you are comfortable with the coupon I am sending you then get back to
us with the confirmation so that we can send the coupon to you as soon
as possible. Waiting for your prompt and positive reply.

Also I would like to inform you that these coupons will be generated on
random basis in future by our Product team and in you will be
definitelly availed with these kind of coupons and I am aware and feel
very sad to know that we are loosing one of our Valuable Member of ebay
However Its because of the terms and conditions or else I would had done
things that would had satisfied you and also brought a smile on your
face.

there are at aleast not less than 10-15 communications i did in this regards but with same replies every time

yes, they are that way with the coupons...there is no consistency...i also faced something similar where my 10% coupon was wasted by a seller and when i asked for another one, i got a 'up-in-the-air' kind of reply, and was sent a 5% coupon instead.

also absurd is the fact that it seems eBay never sends high-savings coupons to regular buyers, which means one doesn't get any reward for loyalty. now i am not saying send 20% coupons to everyone 'cause then eBay will go into loss but one in a while, a 10% one is not too much to ask.

or better still, have a loyalty program for regular buyers, kinda like the points system that credit card companies have. -- Signature: I am Jack's complete lack of surprise.
