i have written perfect address but seller ship at wrong address, so who take the responsibility?

i have given perfect address to my seller and ebay but seller post my order to wrong address so how we can trust ebay? one more thing are who are taken responsibilty to waste my 8 days, becasue i want to give that to someone on his birthday.
