Dear fellow members I have applied for eBay Powership program.They haven't send me sign up page even after 48 hours.Powership is meant to provide faster service to customers & to reduce courier charge burden from seller.But i have seen many experienced sellers complain about powership program.eBay powership team don't coordinate with the DTDC/Blue Dart as they claim.In my area couriers like DTDC/Blue Dart don't provide home delivery.They ask for pick from their office.So i cann't imagine that courier will come to pick up package from my home.
As we all know seller have to send the package within 4 days from check out day.But due to the bad co-ordination of the eBay powership team & couriers seller have to ask the customer for time extension,which is a huge turn off for buyers.
I request all the power sellers ,experienced sellers to share thier experiences of power seller & guide me regarding this.
Powership is new service from Ebay to provide courier partner and pickup from your home.
But, it is not up to the mark.
When you compare the same with ***. Even Powership is nothing. Just give lot of problems.
And Ebay India powership people do not respond properly. Even they don't have database of what you asked earlier.
It just create lot of problems and hassles contacting them.
And now Ebay may not be providing optionfor DTDC. As DTDC is the worst and cheater courier company in India.
It is good in some places. Bluedart is Good. And Ebay also provide courier with FEDEX. Fedex is international brand company but, it is WORST of the worst company in India.
They delivery parcels to wrong parcel. For pickup to they delay.
There is no proper management for FEDEX courier in India.
Powership will be effective only, if Ebay powership department and courier companies have direct link. In case if they do not pickup the parcel on the same day or next day. Ebay should find and provide compensation to Sellers. As sellers are the only one people who suffer for any kind of issues.
Buyer always at safe place. Ether they get delivery or Refund.
Yes shipping on your own require buyer to confirm the receipt of item. And 90% of the Buyers do not confirm the receipt of item even after they receive the parcel. They know the option. They get emails from Ebay server to confirm the same. But, still do not confirm. Thinking that "We already received the item' Why should we confirm.
Actually this is a non acceptable practice. Most of the times buyer even give feedback but, do not confirm it.
Because of their confirmation, your payment may delay for 8-12 days for auto confirmation.
If you are sending on your own courier. And even if you see courier is delivered to Buyer and showing on Courier company website. Ebay people do not confirm the receipt. You have to wait either buyer confirm or auto confirm from system.
Which is really time consuming and not good for sellers.
Currently most of the policies on Ebay is against Sellers.
Ebay should change it. Ebay should think like Seller.
