Ebay Powership Program

Dear fellow members I have applied for eBay Powership program.They haven't send me sign up page even after 48 hours.Powership is meant to provide faster service to customers & to reduce courier charge burden from  seller.But i have seen many experienced sellers complain about powership program.eBay powership team don't coordinate with the DTDC/Blue Dart as they claim.In my area couriers like DTDC/Blue Dart don't provide home delivery.They ask for pick from their office.So i cann't imagine that courier will come to pick up package from my home.

As we all know seller have to send the package within 4 days from check out day.But due to the bad co-ordination of the eBay powership team & couriers seller have to ask the customer for time extension,which is a huge turn off for buyers.

I request all the power sellers ,experienced sellers to share thier experiences of power seller & guide me regarding this.

Same here... Its been more than 1o days, I have not received any update... 😞 normal courier is costing me hell rate..

dear friend.

i know it takes few time for powershipping to manage.

but after first few days , i can not imagine how helpful powershipping team really is.

regards pickup issue. once you click on print label, pickup boy comes to my location on the same or very next day.

yeah for first time i had to show them a visit and ask them to call whenever that person reaches my location.

i showed them my location with proper landmark, so its first work that is done by you to visit courier office and ask them to pay a visit.

i find no reason to contact powershipping team for the co-ordination, i simply compose a new mail and gets a positive reply in next few days, which is what solves my query/request.

also image the work that is done by sellers to update shipping details,if any mistake happens than it creates a mess to explain buyers wbout the mistake, few buyers always complain they did not received even if they receives, powershipping eliminates them.

also remmitance comes 3 times faster than shipping by self , lolz in that case 70% are treated as received.

Thanks bro for taking time from your busy schedule to answer this question.Do i have to provide TIN/CST VAT no etc while pick up from blue dart?I don't have TIN no.I heard that one have to spend Rs-25000 to get a TIN NO.

Powership is new service from Ebay to provide courier partner and pickup from your home.

But, it is not up to the mark.

When you compare the same with ***. Even Powership is nothing. Just give lot of problems.

And Ebay India powership people do not respond properly. Even they don't have database of what you asked earlier.

It just create lot of problems and hassles contacting them.

And now Ebay may not be providing optionfor DTDC. As DTDC is the worst and cheater courier company in  India.

It is good in some places. Bluedart is Good. And Ebay also provide courier with FEDEX. Fedex is international brand company but, it is WORST of the worst company in India.

They delivery parcels to wrong parcel. For pickup to they delay.

There is no proper management for FEDEX courier in India.

Powership will be effective only, if Ebay powership department and courier companies have direct link. In case if they do not pickup the parcel on the same day or next day. Ebay should find and provide compensation to Sellers. As sellers are the only one people who suffer for any kind of issues.

Buyer always at safe place. Ether they get delivery or Refund.

Yes shipping on your own require buyer to confirm the receipt of item. And 90% of the Buyers do not confirm the receipt of item even after they receive the parcel. They know the option. They get emails from Ebay server to confirm the same. But, still do not confirm. Thinking that "We already received the item' Why should we confirm.

Actually this is a non acceptable practice. Most of the times buyer even give feedback but, do not confirm it.

Because of their confirmation, your payment may delay for 8-12 days for auto confirmation.

If you are sending on your own courier. And even if you see courier is delivered to Buyer and showing on Courier company website. Ebay people do not confirm the receipt. You have to wait either buyer confirm or auto confirm from system.

Which is really time consuming and not good for sellers.

Currently most of the policies on Ebay is against Sellers.

Ebay should change it. Ebay should think like Seller.

Thanks for saving me.With eBay powership team not up to the mark,it's not a good idea to sign up for powership.I better arrange my own courier rather than the courier thugs arranged by eBay team.I can say tha eBay Powership team has a short term memory.They are garbage

I have good experience with Powership. In the begining I had problem for about a week, when the courier pickup boys were reluctant for door pickup. So, I had to go to their office for dispatch. But, as the number of orders increased and continuous folowup was made both with powership team and local courier, they became regular and started to pickup without fail. There are many benefits of powership, which you may not get with your own shipping. I strongly recomend you to register for powership.

I will not recomed you to go for power ship you think its good because you not using it .

In poership our ready to ship order never get ship in minmum 4 to 1 week then you can imagin how long buyer will get its order in that mean time buyer already makes there mind about seller and ends with lowers feedback.
