hi ebay
this is silconvalley
i am facing a different kind of problem
the products been sold by my company have 3 different shipping options
1.national courier/express
2.local courier
3.local cod
since yesterday till today i have received 15 orders
in which 2 are paisapay and rest all are offline payment
futher more 13 of them are cod national
and 2 of them are demand draft
when i do not offer cod national how come the buyers out of mumbai ar able to select this payment mode
and in the case of demand draft the buyers have selected local courier and they are from far eastern side of india
now in demand draft i cannot even send a modified shipment details

when contacted with the sellersupport team
i was advised that the system is like this and i will have to mail all my buyers and tell them that i will not be able to ship them by the mode of shipment they have selected

"do you people what me to sit and send to each of my buyer telling i will not ship to each and every order that i receive"
this is pathetic support from sellersupport

ebay please reply is this the correct suggestion i received from sellersupport for completeing the transection i have received
and is everything right with the system the buyer from any part of the country can select what ever mode of payment he wishes

Hello silconvalley,

You are right, buyers from any part of the country can select whatever mode of payment he wishes. We would request you to clearly mention in the item description / payment details section that buyers outside of the city you are in have to select National Shipping Option.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ORDERS THAT HAVE ALREADY COME IN AND THE LISTING THAT ARE LIVE WHICH WERE BEEN PICKED UP BY BAAZEE TO BE TRANSFERED TO EBAY SERVER I HAVE 28 SUCH ORDERS AND 5 PAISAPAY ORDER WITH WRONG SHIPMENT CALCULATED

we are also facing same problem in our order , we have recived 38 order in last 3 days , but 70% of are COD national , we are not in a position to deliver at COD basis, there is some problem with ebay in this part.

ebay has to change the option in shipping so we can offer diffrent shipping offer to diffrent areas.

ebay team please ans the query as soon as possible.

We have clearly mentioned in all our listings that Outstaion Buyers should select National Shipping charges but no buyer seems to care about it. Outstaion buyers should not be allowed to select Local shipping charges.

Your system should use your users' registration data to prevent them from choosing a wrong shipping charges. This was done on Baazee, I think.

Dear Mr. Rohit@ebay.in,
I faced the same problem, where an outstation buyer has chosen the local courier charge instead, and paid by PaisaPay. Now, it seems he does not want to pay the difference. Why should we have to go this rigmarole of refunds and fvf credits etc. when you can easily solve this problem by writing some code to prevent this from happening during the payment process. The local shipping charges can be easily identified by validating the buyer's city on record, which, I understand is also used in the verification process. I sometimes wonder if it is really worth all this trouble and frustration to sell on ebay.in.

Actually this was fixed by eBay a long back, But even I too facing some problems.

Buyer pays more, Instead of Local Courier, they are paying Flat Rate courier charges. 😄

I am sending a cheque of difference payment with the parcles now days. ---------------
