hello everyone im new to ebay.in community and i want to start my jewellery business on ebay.in,but their are certain queries that i need to be answered before i move any further.firstly i need to know that do i need to form a company and get my company registered that is get VAT/CST number so that i can sell my products online on ebay in mumbai and as well in other states in india and the charges that ebay is asking that is 10percent service tax plus 2percent education cess,these are charged by ebay on final value fee or what,coz even paisa pay is charging 4percent on each transaction.so considering these charges what price should one quote so as to earn profit on a particular item after paying all these taxes and transaction charges.

i want to know how so many people are selling used products online without getting VAT/CST number in their as well as other states,coz they cant provide invoice without getting VAT/CST number and invoice is essentially required for shipping the product.also i would like to know that do we require a business premises to get ourselves registered as a compnay and get VAT/CST numbers even if our business is online

my question is to all the jewellery community on ebay.in that do people really purchase jewellery online these days.how successful it is to sell your jewellery items online,what kind of and how much response do we expect from the buyers community on ebay
