Hi,
With the rising fees and restrictions, sellers will reduce their presence in eBay India. In fact, they have started doing this already.
Thanx,
Truly,

Specially the New Sellers will hesitate to join the community after knowing that their payment will be refunded to buyer if delivery of goods is not done within time limits set by ebay.
This is certainly going to effect overall sales/growth of sale. Afterall many of our sellers also turn regular buyers as well.
Also selling on ebay is no more competitive since almost 10% of the share is taken by ebay /paisapay/listing fee/bank charges and other overheads .

In fact ebay could have invested a share of its success in sales growth by reducing selling fee and paisa pay fee to promote sales and increase its user base.

But perheps ebay has hired some better minds which are working only to lure the buyers at the cost of sellers.

Hello,

New Members would definitely hesitate ..... to be a Seller on ebay India.

Existing Sellers are finding it difficult to cope ..... in such a tough Business environment.

I think New PaisaPay has been launched only for the benefit of the few already established Sellers. .

Hi.

I thought i have to retire from selling on ebay at an old age. But now it seems that i have to retire at a young age!!! Wat a pity.. 😞

I have taught some buyers to acknowledge once they receive the items. Now, they know about New PaisaPay. Before they didnt know a thing about New PaisaPay.

Some of the buyers thought that the item has to delivered to their address within 7 days else they would get their money back. Ebay hasnt done the communication part from their side properly. Guess thats y we are suffering.

new paisa pay policy

Hello,

I understand that eBay gives us a global platform because of which many sellers on the Site have this as their primary / secondary income.

However when the marketplace becomes a difficult place where rents are up, fees are up, rules which do not favour sellers etc. At that point one can only get the feel that either eBay is running into losses and wants to cover this with the hike in fees or else they are too much in Profit that they cannot manage all of them, so with these rules indirectly want to reduce sales as performance of Sellers have been impacted.

I feel eBay needs to understand that Buyers come only when there are Sellers. If sellers are not there, there would not be a point to have Buyers as well.

So what do you all have to say about all this.

new paisa pay policy

sellers should not lose hope with the new paise pay policy,i have 484 positive ratings & still they did not think it fit to put me in the express paisepay payment category,& i have been selling right from the bazee.com days when there always was a human being at the other end of the phone to solve my problems, but many with lower positive feedbacks are on the express paisepay payment, i think it is a question of a lucky dip whereby they just pick at random sellers & slot them, there seems to be no rational explanation, inspite of several emails to support, they just have no answer!
i am now selling with another id on ebay.com, where there is no such hassle & money comes first and in $$$. If the parent company has no such rules why is the indian ebay giving sellers a step motherly treatment??:|

Dear Sellers,

We understand that A CHANGE is not always easy and the changes that New PaisaPay has brought will surely affect the way sellers conduct their businesses.

However we strongly believe that it is really important how our buyers perceive buying from eBay and believe that eBay is the best online destination. New PaisaPay will increase trust on the site, coupled with the fantastic deals and variety that our sellers provide to our buyers will lead to increased sales for our sellers,.

eBay depends only on its seller community for its revenues. Please be assured that eBay will never do anything that will harm its seller community. This move, we believe, will take a strong leap in increasing buyer trust on site and will thus help in increased sales, which will help our sellers in increasing business.

Regards
