ebay change your policy !!!!!!!!!

Received neutral from 10 day old new buyer for false reasons and which reduced my % from 98.8% to 96.4% I will loose all my powerseller status, benefits, other buyers who looks at % and status before buying. That also just because one insane new buyer feels I am not agood sellers and what about 445 excellent feedback no value?

So what I here for if I am not been able to sell and recover my costs despite of excellent services, record , products. just because of ebays stupid policy why should I waste my money and time in listing which will never sell.

I am reducing my listings from 175 to 10 from today. I will not relist once it closes, that is decided. I have signed agreement with rediff, indiatimes and contacted tajonline for the contract.

IF EBAY CANT GIVE US FAIR TREATMENT AND IF ONLY INTERESTED IN EXPLOITING GENUINE SELLERS THAN EBAY MUST KNOW THAT GENUINE SELLERS WITH GOOD FEEDBACKS ARE WELCOMED BY 100 SITES.

I did it last month already. I have closed shop and reduced listing on ebay. The reason is ebay is not concerned of genuine sellers. Ebay favours fake sellers.
My reason to reduce ebay activities= overcharging VAT by some fake sellers. Ebay is just overlooking it inspite of knowing all details.

Its pity for ebay... sales not impressive as it used to be. No proper treatment for genuine sellers.
Big talks of powerseller merchandise. I have not received anythiing since last 3 months. Its real sad now.

Hello Fellow Ebayers,

Ebay has Changed Feedback Policy from June in which seller cannot leave Negative or Neutral Feedback to a buyer. What a funny change, just today we have been the victim of this change for no fault of us.

Item No: 360052266292
Buyer : shelitaj2317

Buyer Purchased this item and we sent Payment information on 17th May. Buyer didnot paid. We opened Unpaid item dispute to get back our Ebay Fees. Buyer replied, he will pay after some days, sought apology. We waited and claimed Ebay Fees. Now buyer has given Neutral Feedback with remarks " didn't purchase."

All communications are presnt in Ebay Dispute console which shows buyer has purchased.

We cannot leave Negative or Neutral.

New Ebay Policy explains :

"Sellers can no longer leave negative or neutral Feedback for buyers."
"Buyers should leave honest Feedback without the fear of receiving negative or neutral ratings."

Giving this weapon to buyer to leave Feedback without fear has utilised by this buyer in a gross unjustifiable manner with absolutely no fault of us.

We want this 100% wrong Feedback to be withdrawn as these type of Feedbacks affects our credibility.

Ebay.in has always helped us in the past, and even today there is no defect in service provided by the staff it is very cooperative and ready to help 24 x 7, there is no complaint for the same.

Till last month everything was going on perfect. we never complained for any small issues, for e.g. paise pay changes, increase in fees, listing charges, increase in sales amount for power sellers, even we never said anything for the chargeback issues after 2 months of receipt.

We understand that this feedback policy is introduced by ebay.com and ebay.in staff has no role to play they are not to be blame.

We only request all the persons who are incharge of this policy changes is that please if you can try to resolve the feedback issue with the ebay.com. The policy in USA cant work in India due to the level of understandings differs in buyers in USA and India.

We love ebay and want to sell in ebay only but we need basic protections as no seller will accept this kind of treatment after providing best products,services for the last six years.

Please if possible make eBay as it was in the past where all sellers and buyers and eBay was happy. Let us all understand each others problems and difficulties from other persons side and resolve the issue.

Ebay All Genuine sellers are dying please save if you can!!!!! we can only request rest is in your hand.

we love ebay

but ebay makes us feel bad by selling in it.

it is totally unfair policy

i am also looking to sell in other website.will soon start it if ebay doesnt do something which proves ur genuinity to them

Hello Ashok (sitare_jewels),

We agree that the feedback that was left to you was totally unjust and although the buyer has responded to the UPI dispute it still is eligible to be removed on unjust grounds and I'll surely look into this.

Also, this would not be only a one off such removals but any neutral/negative feedbacks with positive comments or unjust feedbacks from buyers will be removed keeping that in India buyers tend to be more impulsive and hence such processes will take care of them.

Hope that provides some context to all our dear community sellers that we listen and care :-).

I must congratulate Ebay Authorities to realise the truth and for withdrawing the Neutral Feedback given by a Non-paying Buyer.
As Indraneel written in this thread I agree that Ebay has taken right step by erasing Feedbacks of Blocked buyers, and repeat buyers but This good action is being Neutralised by some wrong policy of Ebay towards Feedback changes affecting Sellers credibility. I hope, sooner or later, Ebay will realise and change the policy.

I am also fedup with selling now ! FOR NO REASON ..NO CONTACT ...NOTHING ...BUYER COME AND DROP NEGATIVE ...and then we shout and shout ! doesn't make sense!

I already started selling with rediff and indiatimes,not much sales there right now..but good margin ...and no fear of buyer's !
