Wrong weight by bluedart and PS Couriers and no action by powership seller central or ebay

Hi,
     We ship item form blue dart regularly through agreement with ebay. We ship several items daily however from last few days there has been gross error from the blue dart side on most of our shipments. I am not sure how this is happening. To avoid any error we explicitly mention weight on each and every shipment. To give you few example here I am mentioning the AWB numbers of the item that we sent recently. All these shipments had a weight of less than 100 grams and blue dart charged from 1000 to 2000 grams to each shipment. None of these shipments fall under volumetric weight as the dimensions of these shipments were very small. All shipments were less than 10 inch x 8 inch x 2 inches

This is just a brief list of items that we sent and were charged wrongly.

Powership seller central is not crediting the money for most of the items and the history is not viewable after 45 days

Observation: Most items are charged as per the estimated weight on the ebay shipments which is mostly wrong.

Action Items for Ebay:

I request ebay  to investigate why this is happening and take corrective action.

Make Powership seller central incorrect wight history to be viewable for atleast one year

Most Important: Estimated weight that is mentioned on the shipping lable to be corrected.

Sellers:  Please post your views and your replies if your are facing similar problem so that ebay will know how severe is this problem.

Its more than one month since we reported this issue and still its pending. Now the Request History is also disappearing from powership seller central so we will not be able to check what happend to the past cases or follow up on that. Is there any seller who got credit for the last month heavily charged excess weight please let us know.

This is the outcome of ebay result where most of cases have been rejected by ebay saying "correctly weighted by LSP". We are mostly selling jewelry or sticker and send them in small ebay packets of 8"x10". How can stickers or jewelry items of quantily one or two weigh 1 kg or more. No one from ebay is able to explain that so far. Please look for yourself and share your views.

Is there any seller who is satisfied with the outcome of the weight issues settled bay ebay or all facing similar issue ?.

we are facing the same issue, half of the cases they had rejected saying its more than 45 days old , 4- 5 they approved and the rest its said that the LSP is correct. when i sent continuous 4 - 5 mails to ebay grievance , the grievance team is explaining me the difference between volumetric and actual weight instead of solving the issue.

i don't think it is any use to sell on ebay anymore.

    As you can see above in my reply only the weight that is assigned 4 kg or 2 kg to a 50 grams item has been approved, other cases are commented as correctly weighted by LSP. How can volumetric weight applies to an ebay package of 50 grams sent in smallest ebay packet of 8x10 inches. These are all excuses and ebay is enjoying extra revenue rather than solving these cases by checking the contents and package sizes properly. This 45 days limit should also be removed as most of us observe the extra weight when we look at our invoices at the end of the month. 

There is a  new problem form last few days while reporting the extra weight in powership seller central its giving the error saying "Request already submitted" for fresh cases. Not sure what the grivence team and other departments of ebay are doing. Slowely we are losing interest in selling on ebay.

Now Ebay CS have got a new theory, they are saying that since June ebay revised its policy and between volumetric weight and actual weight whichever is higher they will charge for it  and when i asked when it was conveyed to the sellers , they say it ia an internal change, they have not informed the sellers about it and are deducting money from them.

when i asked them why its stll charging 2 - 3kg weight of a 500 g product, they are saying as per the surface delivery rules it's so happening.when i have not opted for the surface delivery mode, why would even opt for it for handbags and jewelery

Ebay is cheating its sellers openly, without even informing them they are changing policies and are charging extra money.

Hi,

     We got refund for only 3 excess weight requests out of the several requests that we created, as you can see above. This is only for around 50 gram items that were wrongly weighted as 2 kg and 4 kg. All other requests are as is and ebay in not showing any interest  in resolving the issue inspite of several mails to ebay.

bhai if you dont want to suspend your account please do not raise this over weight issue as my account is suspended as i  reported that issue to ebay.com although i got refund but ebay.in restricted my account for selling
