I think that Ebay is cutting its own growing and fruit bearing trees .It is quite amusing to watch Ebay boot out its own income sources-the sellers who have a long term relationship with Ebay and are the main sources of income for Ebay. For example u will find that lots of good sellers who used to sell previously on bazee have been booted out by Ebay. Some examples are users like statusfashions. This user was a power seller yet has been kicked out of Ebay.If you know any other of your favourite seller who has been booted by Ebay please leave me his id.I would like to study the ID history .I want to know how foolish Ebay is. LOL

Hi,
I totally understand your concern regarding seller suspension.
However, I would also like to clarify that a member would get suspended only when the user is found to be violating any eBay policy. Policies are made in order to provide a safe trading environment for our users and benefit the community at large. As many of you who are board regulars would know, we need to build trust within the community that eBay is a safe place for our users to trade. And we believe that policies, and enforcing these policies, are required to help us achieve this trust.
The Trust and Safety team works closely with other teams to help our sellers understand various policies. We have created a special page within Seller Central to help sellers understand the various policies so that they do not inadvertently violate any policy. You can access this page here - http://pages.ebay.in/sellercentral/ebaypolicies/
Finally, and sorry to bring this up within a policy discussion, we also have a Boards Usage Policy. I would strongly urge all our board users to read this policy, in case you have not already done so. This policy can be read here - http://pages.ebay.in/help/policies/everyone-boards.html
Warm Regards,
Sapana

Hi sapana
thx for the details ...
Please confirm after how many policy violations does ebay suspend a member.
Actually i have already got two mails about poicy violations.
1. For some wrong image posted
2. For wrong category
Both of them happened unknowingly. ANd the same was corrected immediately.
AM i at a risk of being temporarily suspended ??
Or i would be suspended only if i violate multiple policies in a specific time frame.
Kindly Clarify. !!sAsTaITsHop!!

Things have changed since ebay has taken over i remember the days of baazeee it was quite good the people were also very friendly and supportive to the problems of the sellers.
The interests of the seller used to be protected but things have changed the seller is always in fear of a/c suspension many of my old friends who is used to sell and had powerseller status, they say that ebay doesn;t protects the interest of the sellers also there are lot of ebay's nigeris frauds.
There are also many reasons, If u see many powersellers and big sellers are no longer registered.
The sellers say that ebay suspends a/c without 1st warning and sometimes without good reason which could be otherwise sorted out through talks.

When a seller violates a policy, why doesn't ebay give him a warning or notice before suspending his account.Ebay doesn't even inform the seller about the listing that violated the policy.
A friend of mine just added the line "free ebook with item"(1st time & in only 1 listing)
& ebay immediately suspended his account without any notice at all.Is this fair?
