We Can Stop Nigeran Buyers

Hello Everyone, I was just wondering how to stop this Nigerian frauds...as they always bid on big amount purchases and I have to end up paying fees for that product at least for that month(Obviously I do get fee credit in next invoice). Whenever they purchase I have to pay extra Rs 3000-4000 to eBay as fees. I have got a suggestion , i didn't know how many of you will agree with me on this but its my opinion and with the help and support of eBay we can overcome with this problem.My suggestion is that eBay should give limits to new user. I mean Nigerians they make a new id and buy the product on the same or next day.EBay should put limits like new user cant purchase more than Rs 5000/- items till 5-7 days. In this 5-7 days EBay can find out whether the buyer is genuine or not and if they find out buyer is not genuine and they should be suspended and should be given FVF ASAP and by doing so we will end up paying less fees for the current months invoice.

I agree with this suggestion.

But such suggestions were earlier not accepted by ebay sayign that "this will affect the new buyers coming to the site".

I guess ebay should understand that most NEWLY registered buyers who buy a product valued at more than Rs 10k are not genuinely interested (not necessarily Nigerians).

If they can share a few stats with us regardign the same we can draw a conclusion !!

Buyers also should be verified like ebay does for sellers.

This will decrease fake buyes and nigerians. ---------------

TWICE IN 3 DAYS MY LAPTOP HAS BEEN BOUGHT BY REGISTERED INDIAN EBAY MEMBERS WHO TURN OUT TO BE FRAUDULENT/FICTITOUS MEMBERS, ARE NOT LCOATED IN INDIA DESPITE BEING REGISTERED with WWW.EBAY.IN AND WANT ME TO SHIP THE LAPTOP TO THEIR FRIEND IN NIGERIA as a birthday gift.

HOW CAN YOU PREVENT SUCH THINGS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN? WHAT GUARANTEE ARE YOU GIVING THAT MY NEXT LISTING WILL NOT BE BOUGHT BY ANOTHER BUYER WHO IS ALSO A FRAUD?

BUYERS SHOULD also BE MADE TO LINK THEIR BANK AND CREDIT CARD ACCOUNT SO IF THEY DEFAULT UNDER ANY POLICY AND DO NOT FOLLOW THE SELLERS INSTRUCTIONS( BOTH TIMES I HAD CLEARLY MENTIONED I WOULD NOT SHIP THE LAPTOP TO ANY PLACE OUTSIDE INDIA, AND STILL THESE MEMBERS BOUGHT MY LAPTOP AND ASKED ME TO SHIP IT TO THEIR FRIEND IN NIGERIA), THEY WILL BE FINED OR WILL HAVE TO PAY FROM THEIR LINKED ACCOUNTS AND SO THAT THE SELLER HAS TO NOT SUFFER LIKE I AM, SINCE LAST 3 DAYS, MAINLY DUE TO YOUR INADEQUATE SECURITY MEASURES AND YOUR INABILITY TO CURB SUCH TRANSACTIONS AND PUNISH SUCH EBAY MEMBERS...

TELL ME WHAT WILL EBAY DO TO PREVENT SELLERS FROM SUCH HARASSMENTS AND PUNISH SUCH BUYERS APART FROM SUSPENDING THEIR ACCOUNTS?

IT IS SO SIMPLE TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT WITH EBAY AND THEN CREATE SUCH PROBLEMS FOR SELLERS....

EVE IF EBAY SUSPENDS BOTH THESE MEMBERS, SOMEONE ELSE WILL BUY MY LISTING ITEM TOMORROW WIHT SAME RESUTLS. WHAT GUARANTEE DOES EBAY GIVE THAT THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN?

But not in nigeria atleast ... play safe dear .. they enter your (asians) houses in Nigeria and hold you at gunpoint every now and then ....

Its has a high crime rate and known for frauds .. but due to these frauds the whole nation takes a bad name here ...

Lets not spoil the name of any country just because of a few selfish and */*/&^%$)$ whtever //) frauds ...
