USPS post not recived in India , selling give me custom id

Its now over 3 months but seller is only giving me custom id. How can i exactly track with custom id. Any help ?

My package arrived in India via USPS on 2nd Jan 2009. Ever since its showing that its with customs. I dont know what are they doing with my package. I have recieved items via USPS before without any problem.
I tried calling this number "022-26156152", but its useless... sometimes its busy all the time, then when the bell goes, no one answers. And then sometime it says that the number is out of service. Can anyone help me please!

Never ever use USPS / EMS to get costly Items to India "THEY WILL NEVER REACH".

If u got them insured take the claim. as you are going to get an empty box.

I would also love to know the answer to this question. My parents sent me a package via USPS and I am in Kerala, still waiting. The tracking number tells me it's with Indian Customs, but I have no phone number to call or any way of handling this. It's been sitting there (where exactly I do not know) for a month and I don't know what to do!
