I have an Bronze Antique (1880-1890) and want to sell it to US or UK people. It's weight is 400 grams. I get this one from my Grandfather. For this selling, should I have any License from Govt? Can I send it via Indian Post service? Is it legal to send the Metal Antique by Indian Post?
If I should get license, from which department I should consult and in which way?

As per India's antique act, any item more than 100 years old is considered antique which cannot be exported outside. This is to safeguard the heritage of India and to prevent smuggling outside of India rare artefacts .

As per the provisions of the act, you need a police verification and report before the licence is granted.
