Why cant ebay.In asks the sellers to place their credit card while they register as in other countries.I found many sellers cheating others.I won a item last month.Still i didn't got it.
Those sellers should be charged nicely.

Hi,
In India still most of the people in non metro cities do not have a credit card. But ebay does verify the seller. Either by credit card or cellphone number or address verification. Before making a rule ebay has to look for the country constrains also.
You should look at the seller ratings and feedback to know whether or not he is a genuine seller.
Not always every seller will sell something at loss.
I hope next time you do get a good seller.
Cheers :-),

I agree with Shifa03.
I think ebay.in should have a firm buyer and seller verification programme in place. Credit cards, pan no's, faxing of identification cards.. anything that will keep fraud buyers and seller away.

Rishab is right.
Still some more verification by fax or scanned documents should be considered.
eBay must be able offer the buyers complete details incase of a dispute.

RISHAB IS RIGHT BUT I ALSO AGREE TO shifa_03 BECAUSE I SEE SO MANY SELLERS WHO ARE DELISTED OPEN NEW ACCOUNT EASILY ON EBAY AND COMMIT MALPRACTISES ON EBAY.
JUST VERIFICATION ON SMS WONT HELP,EBAY SHOULD FIND OUT SOME CONCRETE EVIDENCE OF THE SELLER TO BE GENUINE LIKE CREDIT CARD OTHER WHO DONT HAVE A CREDIT CARD CAN BE VERIFIED WITH ANY PHOTO IDENTITY OR OTHER DOCUMENT TO SENT TO EBAY.
I THINK SO THE ABOVE METHODS WILL EASILY HELP EBAY MORE SAFE.
