Hi all,
If a buyer pays a seller and the payment is not enough, does a buyer have to be refunded and the seller re-invoice the buyer the correct amount or can the buyer just send the seller the extra amount due? If the buyer can send the extra amount due how is that done?
See here, a post on the US board:

Thanks! .

Hi
A simple and practical solution
Ask the seller to list the same product especially
for the seller
the Buyers buys it and the seller can raise invoice for the balance that he needs.
There's no other practical way as i am assuming that the seller does not accept paypal

Hello Kathie ,
If the Buyer has bought through PaisaPay and there is some descripency regarding the total amount then officially the deal has to be cancelled and the amount refunded to the Buyer.
The Buyer can again buy the same by requesting the Seller to relist the same at the mutually arrived Price & shipping. (if it's a fixed Price Item)
There is no provision in the PAISAPAY to take extra amount.
Also, PayPal is not available on Indian site but in case the Seller has a PayPal account he may ask the Buyer to pay the extra amount through PAYPAL.
But this would be a Fee circumvention Policy violation. .
best regards

Hello,
The seller can create a listing called "Difference amount to be paid by buyer XXX" with the additional amount to be paid.
Mail the buyer the link of the item or the item number.
The buyer can buy the item and pay the difference.
This is the simplest and fastest way.
This does not violate any policies.
