Promoting Shops Newsletter - Tips

Hi, Having an ebay shop allows you to send out Free newsletters, which is a great form of advertisement and way to create a list of ebay members interested in your products.

Does anyone have any success stories or tips on how to get potential buyers to sign up for their newsletter?

I have the option displayed at the top of my store and all my listings and have tried promoting free shipping for signing up..but, dont have a huge response.

While I am not an expert, I could think of the following areas where you can promote your shop subscription service:

YOu can add the link - "Add me to your Favourite Seller/ shop List" in all your listings.

mail the link to all your previous buyers or prospective buyers.

Add this link in your Shop listing header that will automatically appear in all your Current and Future Listings.

In your thank you / feedback mails to your buyers.
