Poor Holiday settings management in eBay need improment.

Dear eBay Team,

I have been exploring the holiday setting for shop, since i am going for holiday for 2 weeks. Please note the draw backs of the system.

This need improvements otherwise sellers will be affected by getting negative feedback because of the poor management from eBay side. Think about some of the close relative of seller died suddenly or seller falls sick, he is forced to remove all the listing and it cannot do it in bulk. He has to click one by one and end the listing, and it takes time. Think about seller having 500 listing and time required to end the listing ?
Please see the points I would like to discuss. I hope eBay will find out some solution for me.

1. I can set the holiday message in HTML for shops, but I cannot set a message for the listing holiday saying "I cannot accept DD for 1 week because I will be on holiday for 15 days from 20-Jan-2007 until 05-Feb-2007" like that.

2. In listing holiday setting I can only mention the end date of holiday but not the starting date of holiday. If eBay allow me to set start date of date of the holiday, would be better for the seller to show the message in advance to alert the buyer that he cannot process the order if we don’t pay on time.

3. The holiday message from shop and holiday message from listing should be shown in the feedback screen, so that user will know exactly the seller is on holiday and he can wait until next communication before if he has any unhappy feedback.

4. There should be holiday message auto reply to the customer who write to us. So that they know we are on holiday and they can wait for our answer before take decision about us or feedback, will be safer for sellers.

5. In the shop holiday message we mentioned only PaisaPay for 1 week before our holiday because we cannot process DD and Chequs. There should be a option to change payment mode for all the listings from seller account, for example one week before leaving for the holiday we can change all the payments to PaisaPay only, so that customer don’t have to take trouble to send DD and shipping delay kind of things. I am going on holiday from 20th Jan and i would like to accept payment in PaisaPay from 10th Jan, customer would be unhappy if he still purchase and pay by DD but his items will be shipped after 2 weeks. We might risk of getting -ve feedback. We cannot edit 100's of listing to change the payment mode if you keep it in Seller Account.

6. Though we are committed to eBay, sellers are also human beings having family and life. They might want to go for holiday or leave or sick or unexpected reason he cannot operate the shop. We need total close down of the shop by one click saying close all listing after multiple level of security check like date of birth, phone number and things like that. Otherwise it is hard job closing 100's of listing he has. eBay should give us proper management to serve the customers properly. Every buyer expected quick and prompt service after payment, incase if a seller does not meet the standards he has risk of getting –ve rating.

7. But we are happy about shop holiday setting, it just work perfectly.
I hope eBay team will discuss and improve the holiday setting management, so that seller and buyer would be happy dealing each other.
