Buyers are taking the opportunity of this loop hole to leave Negative Feedback to Sellers and blackmails for FULL REFUND or REPLACEMENT. These are mostly Indian Buyers. Sellers are helpless and have to REFUND the payment to get their Negative Feedback removed.
But now the New Community Court too is Buyer friendly. Sellers have to suffer from both sides.
Recently a Buyer left Negative for me and I gave him Full Refund so that my Negative can be removed. But when I filed the case with Community Court it was not in my favour. I lost everything. Listing Fee, FVF, PaisaPay Commission, Cost of Item, Shipping Charge and what I got for all these a Negative Feedback.
I have sold hundreds of this product and received appreciation from national and international buyers. Nobody can satisfy this buyer because he leaves Negative or Neutral Feedbacks to the sellers to get refund. eBay should take actions against such blackmailer buyers. But who cares. Buyers are KING of eBay.

At the outset we apologize for the inconvenience caused, as due to a technical bug in the CRF system few cases where the Jurors had voted in favour of the buyer was communicated as voted in favour of the Seller, however if the cases were checked in the history section of CRF, they were being correctly displayed as Feedback will remain. Post your notification to our Customer support team we immediately rectified the bug and communicated to the impacted Sellers regarding the same.
Thank you for highlighting this error to us.

When the system states 0 days, it means that it is the last day for voting for Jurors. However I can now understand it is creating some confusion for our sellers, and will tweak the communication on CRF to avoid this confusion

Completely agree with the point you have highlighted that a Seller should not suffer if there are not sufficient jurors for the case.
If we look at the initial trends on closed cases in CRF, 95% of the cases were closed after it received the required number of votes, while 5% of cases did not receive the required number of votes.
While some of the cases could have got closed due to juror not voting, but basis my interaction with various jurors in CRF, one of the reasons for Jurors were unable to vote for some cases is that there is not much information provided by the Seller while appealing for the case. There were some cases where “Seller had mentioned that the Buyer and I have mutually agreed to resolve the problem , Please remove”, “the buyer is happy now, Please remove” but these appeals had no evidence attached which the juror could verify and hence was not able to arrive at a decision.
Such instances can be avoided if at the time of appealing feedbacks in CRF, Seller are more informative with evidence (e.g. picture of the email thread between buyer and seller) to help Jurors take the right decision.
Additionally,Considering CRF is fairly new to Sellers & CRF Jurors, We will check the feasibility of reopening these 5% cases for couple of days which did not receive sufficient votes such that they can receive the required number of votes.

As i had mentioned in my earlier thread, due to a bug in CRF, for few cases, Sellers were incorrectly communicated that the feedback will be removed. However the history of CRF was displaying the correct status of the case (i.e. feedback will not be removed)
We regret the error and apologies for the inconvenience caused.
Subsequent to feedback from Sellers, we have resolved the bug in CRF.

As mentioned during my workshop, Community Court / CRF is built with the objective to provide a platform where Sellers can appeal against feedback (they received) which they feel is unfair and eBay community members will review the appeal and take a rationale decision on whether the feedback received is fair or unfair.
Although we would want the Buyer to respond to the Sellers appeal,(which would help Juror to know both sides of the story) but the Buyer is not obliged to respond to the appeal nor can it be held against him that feedback left is unfair as he failed to respond.
Even if the Buyer has not responded, the Juror can review the case details along with the justification provided by the seller and still decide that the feedback left is fair and should not be removed.
