Hi!
This is to mark eBay's and other sellers' attention towards multiple listings being posted on most categories. Many sellers post several listings of the same product, which causes other genuine sellers a passive, but heavey loss. Posting of multiple listings of the same product is against the eBay user agreement. But still, many sellers seem to violate the agreement openly. Baazee was vey sensitive in this matter, and used to remove the listings violating its terms from time to time. I dont know whats wrong with the new eBaY staff. They never seem to pay attention in these regards.

Dear musicunplugged,
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We have received similar feedback from other users as well. We are evaluating how best we can monitor and take the right action in such instances. In the meantime, we will request your co-operation in the process, and report multiple listings whenever you come across the same via the following Contact Us link.

The best idea is to match the details of an item (title, description, images, etc) that the seller lists with his other listings by some clever programming, or monitor all listings manually.

I fully agree with this my personal experience is also quite bitter if you see the categories gold in necklace sets or diamond in jewellery you will find all sorts of items are listed there and that too in number of quantity we are unnecessarily degrading our ebay by doing this how do you think will a person come back again and again to ebay to buy if he finds all sorts of items in the category he wants to browse.ebay should take a firm action for such nuisanse

Thats absolutely correct. Take Harry Potter 6th edition for an instance. This guy with id 'statusfashions' has posted more than 129 listings of the same book, while the no. of actual sellers selling the book is only 5, and i'm one of them. I'm offering the least prize, and i recieved hell lot of orders; But, now I'm starving for orders as this guy is not allowing the buyers to have a look at our item. So, its not just causing inconvinience to buyers, but also to sellers. And eBay seems to be doing nothing about it. Maybe they are too busy collecting the revenue from the sales to look over these matters.
To sapna: Your link is a piece of crap. I reported hundreds of multiple listing issues but none of them were removed.
