Invoice Received for sold items where the buyer has not sent me the payment

Hi,

This is Srikanth here, I received an invoice for the Selling i have done for my mobile.

The buyer has responded to me and he showed interest in the mobile. but the buyer has not payed the money for the item and i have reported the same to the ebay member. But Still i received an invoice for the same and i dont understand when an item is sold but the transaction is not complete, how do i pay the money, next is the buyer has registered himself in two different id's and ebay has not even tried to confirm his contact details which is valid or not invalid. How did ebay give a chance to fraudlent buyers who bid and quit for a toss with the seller. Sometimes the sellers do the same thing which happened to me in a case for nokia 6610i where i made the payment but till date not received the product and also intimated ebay for the reimbursement of the same.

Is this how you protect your buyer and seller. Is this the way that we do online trading.

Pl. provide me some information on this.

I regret the unpleasant experiences you have had while trading on eBay. We have an Unpaid Item Policy to address the issue of buyers not paying for their item after buying it. Under this policy, sellers can claim a credit for their Final Value Fees, and buyers might receive an Unpaid Item Strike. eBay takes action against users who have Unpaid Item Strikes against their account based on their history on the site.

Similarly, as a buyer, if you do not receive the item you paid for, we have an Item Not Received Policy. Under this policy, buyers who are unable to resolve their concerns may be eligible for reimbursement through eBay's Standard Purchase Protection Program.
