I regret the unpleasant experiences you have had while trading on eBay. We have an Unpaid Item Policy to address the issue of buyers not paying for their item after buying it. Under this policy, sellers can claim a credit for their Final Value Fees, and buyers might receive an Unpaid Item Strike. eBay takes action against users who have Unpaid Item Strikes against their account based on their history on the site.
Similarly, as a buyer, if you do not receive the item you paid for, we have an Item Not Received Policy. Under this policy, buyers who are unable to resolve their concerns may be eligible for reimbursement through eBay's Standard Purchase Protection Program.
