I Propose " To Form Sellers Committee" to deal with eBay for major issues.

I suggest that Sellers must form a 7 members committee who will deal with eBay for such major issues.
Also eBay has to accept this committee and has to consider this committee and discuss with them any major issues or changes in policies which will effect sellers badly. EBay has to get approval from this committee for major issues which will effect sellers on large.

Committee will ask opinion from sellers on such issues and take decision for the same and respond with eBay. And make necessary alterations/ changes if required in new policy once it is agreed by both.

This will definitely reduce the gap between sellers and EBay and such type of incidence where eBay blindly impose any policies without looking at sellers point of view will be reduced or stopped.

Also eBay will be in better position as they are winning the sellers confidence before hand instead of dealing with any complications or issues raised afterwards.

The sellers committee will also deal with many other sellers problem and work for betterment of sellers in eBay.

The committee formed will be elected by sellers and its term will be for 24 months. After expiry new committee will be appointed. The working fund can be raised by all the sellers contributing Rs.100 to 500 as membership fees yearly.

We the sellers must come together for our and eBay's prosperity.

This is my suggestion everyone is invited to give their opinion for the same.

Hi princesswalkeshwar_in1

This idea is good but as all of us know ebay.in is merely a puppet ! All the policies aren't framed and imposed by them and we need to raise our voices on ebay.com forums !

We need to come together as I have learnt from brand deal that now neutral option has also been vanished for sellers. What ebay is upto !!!! It is really sad for all of us who have worked hard to maintain the percentages and status in past 5 years.

We need to do something by comming together other wise a day is not far where ebay in the name of policy changes from usa ,will start giving refunds to buyers and debit our a/c for no reason or explanation.

Looking at the sudden changes in past 12 months time It clearly looks that ebay is trying to praise buyers on the cost of genuine sellers. Every seller will agree that most of the policies we saw in the past 6 months are 90% favouring buyers on the cost of sellers.

Let us get united otherwise please make it very clear that every genuine seller no matter how big or small, old or new will cry for sure. As ebay will impose many such killing policies every week because ebay knows that sellers are never going to react in group those who suffered will just write on boards and others will not bother.Sellers please note the way ebay is imposing unfair policies it will take each one of us sooner or later in its trap.

Get united and let us make ebay understand that we are all here for business and by making such onesided policies will not only kill genuine sellers but also ebay one day as sellers want sell than what buyers will buy.

Dear jaipur_fashions,

You are completely mistaken. I have a good colleague at ebay office in Mumbai. It is completely wrong that all the base decisions and policies are formed by the ebay Head Dept in US. If all the policies had to be made by ebay.com, then why does the ebay.in office in Mumbai have a 100+ staff? What do they do sitting back in a lavish office? What are all the (bla…bla) dept's meant for? If you have any problems, the ebay.in guys calls you and helps you out. The account managers are ebay.in guys. They listen to you. They answer you. Yes, ebay.com is involved in forming the policies, but just for an approval stamp. The ebay.in guys say that they conduct surveys. Who calls you? Ebay.in staff or the ebay.com staff?

These are just a reason by them to be on a safer side and get sympathy for their worst policies!

Dear princesswalkeshwar_in1,

Yes, we need to unite and fight against ebay. But remember one thing, just writing on the community boards will not budge them. Nor will a strike on selling budge them. They themselves have breached their policy. We consider that they mentioned about the negative feedback changes couple of months back. But how about the neutral feedback? Nothing was ever mentioned about it! Why were we sellers kept inside a dark room?

Yes, all the policy changes since the past few months are favoring the buyers. We sellers even accept the hike in selling fees.

They keep on implementing policies as we sellers never opposed them nor fought back for ourselves. We also better need a good lawyer who can find out some mistake of ebay.in / ebay.com (Like the neutral feedback as said above) and get them to a good business.
