How to make profit by selling products on Ebay?

Hi guys,

I want to sell books on Ebay. However, after calculating all the charges of Ebay, I don't understand how I can sell them at a profit.
I get books from a wholesaler at 35% discount of MRP.
Assuming the price of the book is 250, I get it at 170.
If I list the item at MRP price,
Ebay FVP: 6% = 15
PaisaPay Charges = 11.25
Speedpost charges = 60 (Assuming the book weighs 200 grams and the buyer is 2000 km away)
Total Charges = 86

250 - 86 = 164
I will be at a loss of Rs 6 even after getting the book at 35% discount and listing it at MRP. Any suggestions on how to make profits?

Selling books feasibile only when u r sourcign them at about 60% discount to its MRP which is the standard norm. ur wholesaler is taking u for granted!!!

also when u sell at MRP, dont expect any significant sales. many reputed book sellers on ebay are selling much cheaper.

i guess you shud think of some other product line!!!!
