Namskar/Hello ebay india,
I am very keen to know how the Fees are calculated. Kindly guide me as per example take by me below-
Example-
Suppose I want to sell a Product 'X' for which I should get Rs.500/-. The amount of Rs.500/- includes My purchase price + My Profit + Shipping(all over India). I want to list it under "Home Living >Pet Accessories". For how much I need to list it for so that I get Rs.500/- at the time of Remmittance from ebay india?
From what I read there are three types of Fees-
1. Insertion
2. Paisapay
3. Final value
AFAIK Insertion fee won't be charged till first 100 listings.
Paispay fees will 4.5% + taxes & Final value fees are 5% + taxes. Now how taxes will be calculated? pls explain with above example.

Ok, I understood it with the Help from ebay staff. I'm Writing it in detail incase if any newbies stuck like me-
Ebay fees-
Category- Pets accessories
1. Insertion- 1st 100 listings are free then rs.2
2. Paisapay- 4.5% emi/non emi + 12.36% tax(12% service + 3% edu)
Example- if your Item value is RS 1000 then ebay will deduct RS 45 (4.5% of Item value) + RS 5.50 (12.36% of RS 45) And rest amount ie RS 949.50 Will transfer to your account.
3. Final value fee-
Example- if you sold an item in the "Pet accessories" category for Rs. 1000. Using the Final Value Fee table, your Final Value Fee is Rs. 50 (5% of Rs. 1000) + RS 6.18 (12.36% of RS 45) And rest amount ie RS 56.18 to be paid as fee later.
Straightforward calculation- Add 12.36% of original item cost to it & then list on ebay & cross verify by deducting 11% from ebay listing price. However this applies accurately when item is listed with Free shipping.
Example- An item priced Rs.500/- to be listed on ebay. Take 12.36% of 500 gives 61.8. Add it to 500 gives rs.561.8; this will be ebay listing price. Now crossverify; paisapay & final value fee both contribute approximately to 11% so take 11% of 561.8 gives 500. So you get the price you wanted i.e. Rs.500/-
