Enquiry from Pakistan

Dear All,



I have received an enquiry for a product (2 items with Value of Rs.4900/- each)
from Pakistan. I do not have an IEC registration.



My Question is:

1 Can I send a product to Pakistan (Export) without an IEC number?

2 What are the payment options avalable to the Buyer? (and also it should be
legal/ without hassels for me)?

I will be using a courier service to send the product.



Kindly share your knowledge about the same.

Dear Mahesh,

1.) You cannot export anything from India without an IEC number.

2.) There are only a few items which pakistan allows to be imported from India so the number of blacklisted items are many. Firstly you need to find out is the item which you have recieved an enquiry regarding allowed to be EXPORTED TO PAKISTAN FROM INDIA.

3.) Most of the courier companies do not accept consignments to pakistan from india including comanies like FedEx.

4.) Still most of the trade between two countries takes place through Dubai which is not legal and not a feasible option as well.

I has recieved similar queries and this is a researched data.

I would always prefer Blue dart courier, due to its efficient courier tracking system.
