Are eBook Allowed now ?

I see that there are lots of eBooks available on eBay nowadays.

Can we sell eBooks on eBay now for which we have either copyright or resell rights ??

I also have my own ebook written by myself. Can I sell that too ?

eBooks come under downloadable media policy.

There are two exceptions to downloadable media policy:
--the seller is the copyright owner, or
--the underlying material is in the public domain

E-books are being soled on ebay.in,by many sellers,who are not copyrighters and they are claiming it to be from public domain,what a joke!High time e-bay took notice and checked the verification of such offers.The sellers are also delivering by e-mail and download from hidden links!A clear cut violation of e-bay policies.

You can surely sell ebooks on ebay , howevr the ebooks should be either in public domain or you must be the copyright owner!

I have tried to list an ebook as a digital delivery item at eBay India, but failed. You can list and sell your own eBook as a digital delivery item at eBay USA and UK with Paypal as a payment option.

I had a live chat on the subject with one of the ebay support executive and came to know that currently indian site is not supporting the sale of ebooks.But when I searched for ebooks, I found several ebooks being sold.
