Additional layer of security for online transactions*** Less Chargebacks

Hi all 🙂

From August 01, 2009, RBI has mandated an extra level of verification for all online credit card transactions. Does this mean that sellers will have less chargeback issues from 01st August onwards ?

Hi,
That is a thoughtless move.What happens to international buyers?There should be a limit to harassment.Already buyers are very much agrieved by strange behaviour.Now they can pass the buck to Reserve Bank.This is pathetic.

I always try to promote eBay India.I try to make make Ebay India great.PaisaPay does not take my good advice.Now this unnecessary hardle.Dont know what days are coming.

@amitava I did not get you. How can this new step by RBI make eBay India loose International Buyers?

Hi spl_ind,
To tell you frankly,I always try to promote PaisaPay among my buyers.I am sure they will find this to be funny.
Probably you know that,eBay India has blocked international sellers by default,because they cant register with PaisaPay.This is a topic of discussion among international ebay community members.
Now,this is Reserve Bank acting arbitrarily.I apprehend that the buyers will avoid eBay India now.
