BBE Policy

My concern is about BBE policy. I do not think the BBE policy is good for seller. My account is top rated. Feedback rating is 4.8 out of 5 but still my  account is restricted just because of BBE. 2 or 3 customer left the positive feedback with low rating  for item not as described and these feedback counted in BBE count. Returns got closed in my favor but they  still being counted in BBE policy. I took the help of ebay but they said it automated process and ebay is not able to help. I just need to wait. It become very difficullt for seller to survive.

BBE Policy

Dear classylooks,

Greetings from team eBay!

We do understand your concern with regards to the BBE policy and the evaluation method.

A transaction is considered a BBE transaction when any of the four-evaluation metrics happens and one transaction will be only evaluated once. The BBE rate is defined as the percentage of BBE transactions out of all transactions in the evaluation window.

We understand that the buyers left you a positive feedback but a low rating under “Item not as described” parameter. Please note that eBay is committed to provide a trusted marketplace and a world-class customer experience. eBay therefore requires that sellers place great importance on buyers' experience and work hard on product and service quality control to reduce the bad buyer experience rate (“BBE”).

Since this is an automated process, it becomes necessary that you wait for the next evaluation period wherein your account would be reviewed. In the interim it would be best that you always be proactive in staying connected with your buyers, resolving their issues even before they arise and assuring buyers that you are there to help resolve any issues. This will build your buyers’ confidence in you and which may result good seller ratings.

We thankyou for your understanding.

Regards,

eBay Team
