I am a Swiss Seller, can I register for PaisaPay?

Hello,

I thought to become more active on India market, so possibly it would be good, to own a PaisaPay account, is this possible?

I think I would spend the earned money entirely in Indian products, I would like to import..

Was introduced PaisaPay to keep funds in India?

Best wishes from Switzerland,

Andrzej

Hello Andrzej,

PaisaPay is only for Indian Sellers as the funds are transfered through NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) to an Indian Bank. .

Hello indconcepts,
This is the worst part of eBay India. PaisaPay should not have been a must for international sellers listing here. This is discrimination, and I dont like this. Only organised Bangkok sellers operating from Chennai can list here. Bad, very bad.
Why not PaisaPay relax their rules for international sellers?
Thanx,

Hello Andrzej,

Indian Banks ask for Photo Identity Card as well as Residence proof before they open an Account.

Also, New PaisaPay is compatible with Indian Branches only.

I hope some Pink visit this thread and clarify if there is a way out for you to do business on ebay India.

It's pity that while INDIA is opening up more and more doors for Foreigners .... ebay India is closing all Doors. .

Is there a reason to do so? Some legal regulations?

I have opened a bank account in Germany (also abroad for me) just via snail mail..

And I have proof of residence, but my residence is Switzerland :-).

I understand before there was paypal and PaisaPay is something rather recent?

Andrzej

PS: besides I am stamp seller and offer on eBay.com quite a lot of interesting things.. http://stores.ebay.com/philimpexstamps (the store logo created by ebay does not work)

Hello Andrzej,

Yes , there is a Legal regulation.
For Foreigners, there are a different set of rules.

*********

ebay India's Payment processor is PAISAPAY, since 2005.
PAYPAL was never there and is still not integrated with ebay India.

You really have a good collection and your DSR is also excellent.

( I can see your Store Logo, it's working fine ) .

Hi Andrzej
Like you even i am a stamp seller,i was doing good till the new paisepay changes put a brake on my selling (i had to wait 25 days after shipment for my own money whenever i sold overseas)unlike paypal where sellers get paid first.

I have realized that ebay in has only 5 categories for selling stamps world wide (asia/australia/america/africa/europe) so how does one sell stamps of china, newzealand, etc?.

I am now selling on ebay.com (stampsworldindia)& where they categorize most countries. From experience you will know that buyers search for countries & not continents!

Since my walk out from ebay in i have been requesting them not to delay payments & put more categories,I would ideally like to sell on both platforms once they change the rules - but they chose to play a deaf ear.

Hi,
I am also on the way to .com .I pointed out this flaw at the very onset when they started this new PaisaPay compulsorily. I dont know how they solve this.
This is very serious flaw.
