The verification process before the payment is approved from a Global Buyer is outdated and needs for serious review. Even small payments of say Rs. 3000 are not approved and a buyer is sent a mail asking for a confirmatory mail and a faxed copy of their Credit Card. No American or European will agree to this as they say that it is unsafe to fax their credit card details over an open line. I have personally lost over a lakh of rupees of sales due to this reason. Even worse are a few cases where the buyer has said that as far as he is concerned, he has made the payment and I had better ship him the goods (even though payment was rejected by PaisaPay). And worse still the Negative Ratings if you do not ship the products. So it is a Lose-Lose situation and is a big hinderance in Global Trade. Many eMails to ebay in this regards have as usual gone unanswered (it is very convenient for eBay to just keep mum on the issues that they do not want to answer). This topic was also brought up in various meets with ebay but the result is a big Zero.
So PaisaPay needs serious reforms before Global Trade from India picks up. Cheers!

But seller are not too happy with paypal. Its risky and new to us.
Unless Pay pal has a procesing office in India. Or Paisa Pay is affiliated with paypal for Global verification .. we can only sit and cry !!
Best of luck/. !! Sunny 🙂

We are working to reduce the time taken by PaisaPay in processing the payments. We can not totally remove all the checks since credit card payments have an in-built risk element. However we do understand that due to this the genuine buyers have to wait for the authorisation process. We are making our best efforst to reduce it and you will be able to notice the difference in coming months.
The buyer is told of the documents that he is required to send to PaisaPay immidiately on making the payment.
We are currently working on a project to include email support for sending the documents. It would be available to users in next few months.

Try thinking it in this way before dismissing verifcation processes as outdated
1)what if we used our own payment gateway ... wouldn't we as k for complete details of buyers going for high value items
2) due to the competition in credit card markets ... generally any chargeback /claim by a card user is treated with a bias towards the gateway provider as no card issuer wants to irk their customers ... so neither the card isuing company nor the buyers suffer ... so guess who has to bear the brunt ....??? at least as sellers on ebay india .. we do get a chance to eliminate our losses by providing to paisa pay POD"S etc ... once gain think what if we had our own payment gateway ??
