hi friends,
as per RBI rules(i have consulted RBI officials) if a product is exported, the price should be received by the seller in foreign exchange from the country of destination. it cannot be received in indian rupees.(there may be some basic exemption limt about which i am not sure)
paisapay issues cheques to sellers in Rs. for payments received from foreign buyers for products exported. is that legal?
the same problem seems to be there with paypal.
i would like to know the view of our indian sellers who are selling internationally.
is there any rule which allows INR receipts?
regards
