Hi,
To get an Import Export Code (IEC) , you have to contact with your local ( Director General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) office. The process of getting IEC is pretty simple. I am sure you will not need assistance of any agent. The total expenditure will be less than 2K. .
Best Regards 😄

Hello Thebeauty06,
It's good to know that you want to sell World wide ..... and want to do it legally.
Yes, you need an IE code for that for which the process is quite simple .... as explained by Swarup.
Apart from IE code there is another issue on which we are trying to get information, since last year and a half.
That is .... FIRC
(Foreign Inward Remittance Certificate).
In case you are accepting Foreign currency through TT / Swift then it isn't a problem ... but in case you accept payments through ebay's PaisaPay then there are un-answered questions about FIRC.
You may refer to our other discussions on FIRC. .
best regards
