Always make sure you include as many relevant details as possible in the title, so that you have the best chance of people picking up your auctions when they search. For example, instead of just putting 'dress', you'd put 'evening/bridesmaid dress/ball gown size 14' and attract a lot more viewers. Of course, there are certain things that you cant write a lot for - so just be concise and state the necessary.
Always use a gallery picture (it costs 15p, but your auctions can go unnoticed without one. If you're selling something very special add a subtitle for 35p so that you can write more under the title, but remember that words in the subititle aren't used in the search engine - so write the important bits in the actul title.
Always make sure your listings finish at a good time, as you'll often get bidders who wait until the last minute to bin. So dont have them ended at 5am!!
You can try searching the 'want it now' section and posting your listings in there if anyone is looking for what you're selling.
Make sure your description is easy to read, neat and tidy, and to the point. No excess info as it's just annoying for people to read. Put in a good picture.
